Our trip to Wellington

We spent Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in Wellington waiting to take Chels back to Hawera.

We had lots of fun at the zoo, where Amelia had a bird land on her while she was pretending to be a tree. We also went on the Cable Cars, looked around parliment and spent alot of time at TePapa. We also checked out Wellington from the top of Mt Victoria.

Happy birthday Annabel

Happy 8th birthday Annabel.
Annabel had a party today for 4 friends from school and Amelia. We went to the pool, McDonalds and played at home. She had a handbag cake this year. Hope your real birthday tomorrow is a great day.

Annabel's triathlon

Yesterday Annabel ran an awesome triathlon. 100m swim, 4.5km bike and 1.5km run. There were 149 competitors and she was the 20th girl to finish. She was awesome and we are very proud of her.

Taupo

A night in Taupo was great. We saw the Huka falls and spent lots of time playing beside the lake. Even paddled in a hot pool beside the lake.

On the way home we went to the Waiouru Army museum on the way home.

Rotorua

We took our first trip around the North Island for the weekend. First stop Rotorua and some dreadful smells.

Wanganui for Carlwyn's birthday

We spent the day in Wanganui celebrating Carlwyn's birthday. The girls had a great time.

First Day of school

Today Amelia started her schooling days. She was very excited and got up and sorted very well this morning. Hopefully this continues!!!!

Nathan and Jenny's wedding

We have had an awesome weekend in Wakefield enjoying Sherryn and Kelvin's company and celebrating Nathan and Jenny's wedding.
Congratulations to you both, what an amazing day.

Amelia's finally turns 5

A trip on the ferry and a night at Kaiteri was how Amelia finally celebrated her real birthday.

Amelia conquers a mountain

Today Amelia went on a walk with Mum and Grandad to the top of a mountain. (Cemetery Hill)
She did not complain at all, except when we were walking home. Grandad fell over on his bottom and Amelia skidded over too.

Fun on the Luge

Today we headed up on the gondola for some fun on the luge. Annabel was proud of herself because she went on her own.

Amelia's kindy celebration

On Friday Amelia had her kindy celebration. She cried lots when I came back to pick her up at the end of the day.
Her report was a great one and we were really proud of her.
