Just back from a fabulous holiday that we all really enjoyed. The girls had a blast at the theme parks and were alot more daring on rides than we thought they would be.

Today Annabel ran her cross country on a nearby farm. She did really well in pretty cold, rough conditions to get 11th. Wll done Annabel.

Wanganui trip

It was a lovely afternoon so we decided to drive to Wanganui. The girls complained about having to go in the car but were asleep about 5 mins out of Hawera.

We found this huge park with a working train and lots of play equipment.

There were nursary rhyme characters as well.

The girls actually enjoyed themselves!!!

Where in the South Taranaki were we??????

Today we wanted to take the girls to play in the snow on Taranaki, but when we got there the snow was too far away.

So we went toward Patea to find a lake and eventually - thanks to Nav Man we found Lake Rotorangi and Patea dam. It was a windy rough road with lots of animals grazing on the road side. Some even hanging out on the road. The girls couldn't believe it.The lake was beautiful and very picturesque.
Won't be heading back there in a hurry though!!

Dawson Falls trip today

On Mt Taranaki there is a little walk to Dawson Falls. We went there today. It was lovely!!
