Dance Exams

We are extremely proud of Annabel and Amelia.
They both trained really hard and performed beautifully in their exams.
Amelia got a green rosette and Bel passed her exam with honours!!
Well done both of you.

Grandad's visit

When Grandad came to visit we went to Rotorua for the weekend.

Mt Taranaki Snow

Finding snow on Mt Taranaki proved a little harder than we expected at the weekend. After a solid half hour walk it was a little disappointing!!

Hanmer Snow

We had an awesome time in Hanmer Springs playing in the snow.

ANZAC day

This morning we marched in the dawn parade in Hawera. Amelia lay the wreeth at the memorial and was very proud of herself and so were we.

Showing Chels around

We have had a busy week showing Chels around. We walked up the water tower for a look at the town. In the weekend we went to the glow worm caves at Waitomo, Cambridge for the night then Rotorua to luge and finally home via Taupo.

Our trip to Wellington

We spent Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in Wellington waiting to take Chels back to Hawera.

We had lots of fun at the zoo, where Amelia had a bird land on her while she was pretending to be a tree. We also went on the Cable Cars, looked around parliment and spent alot of time at TePapa. We also checked out Wellington from the top of Mt Victoria.

Happy birthday Annabel

Happy 8th birthday Annabel.
Annabel had a party today for 4 friends from school and Amelia. We went to the pool, McDonalds and played at home. She had a handbag cake this year. Hope your real birthday tomorrow is a great day.

Annabel's triathlon

Yesterday Annabel ran an awesome triathlon. 100m swim, 4.5km bike and 1.5km run. There were 149 competitors and she was the 20th girl to finish. She was awesome and we are very proud of her.

Taupo

A night in Taupo was great. We saw the Huka falls and spent lots of time playing beside the lake. Even paddled in a hot pool beside the lake.

On the way home we went to the Waiouru Army museum on the way home.

Rotorua

We took our first trip around the North Island for the weekend. First stop Rotorua and some dreadful smells.
