So we went toward Patea to find a lake and eventually - thanks to Nav Man we found Lake Rotorangi and Patea dam. It was a windy rough road with lots of animals grazing on the road side. Some even hanging out on the road. The girls couldn't believe it.
The lake was beautiful and very picturesque.Won't be heading back there in a hurry though!!

Think it was a day out for the boy with his new toy. Thank goodness for Nav Man or you might still be out there somewhere. Fake Grandad would be saying "Where are the Willy Wonka's!" See the green jacket is back on the scene.
